Please tell us about your previous job, what motivated you to change jobs, and why you chose Musashi.
In my previous job, I was involved in the design of precision measuring instruments for the automotive industry.
I was responsible for a series of tasks ranging from structural design to on-site commissioning, performing custom designs to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
While leveraging my experience to date, I began job hunting in search of an environment where I could play an active role in the custom-made field across a wider range of industries.
Musashi provides products to a wide variety of industries, not only the automotive industry I had been involved with, but also semiconductors, medical/bio, food, and chemicals.
I was attracted by the high technical capabilities that respond to the broad needs of each industry, which led to my decision to join the company.
Please tell us about your current job duties.
I am mainly in charge of designing desktop and Cartesian robots for dispenser mounting.
While some tasks can be completed solely through mechanical design, many involve custom elements such as electrical, software, and dispenser components.
Therefore, I communicate closely within my department and team to share progress and resolve issues.
I also collaborate with the sales and manufacturing departments, working daily to provide high-precision, highly reliable products while meeting the needs of customers across diverse industries.
Please tell us what you find interesting and rewarding about your current job.
The greatest appeal of my job is being able to directly give shape to what our customers want to achieve.
Because these are custom designs, the scope of design is broad and the degree of freedom is extremely high, which I also find to be a major appeal as it makes it easy to reflect my own ideas in the products.
In one project, I repeatedly created prototypes and made adjustments to meet various customer requests, overcoming challenges one by one.
As a result, I received direct words of gratitude from the customer, which gave me a great sense of accomplishment and fulfillment.
In this way, building a relationship of trust with customers while overcoming difficult challenges to give shape to their requests is what makes my work interesting and rewarding.
What would you like to achieve at Musashi in the future?
Many people might think of "dispensers" when they hear the name Musashi, but in fact, the robot products that support them are also one of the important technologies that represent Musashi.
In the design of custom robots, I always want to incorporate new technologies and ideas to create more efficient and highly reliable products.
Moving forward, I intend to continue providing valuable robots that customers can trust for a long time, and further enhance Musashi's technological capabilities.

Please tell us about your previous job, what motivated you to change jobs, and why you chose Musashi.
In my previous job, I worked as a dispatched electrical design engineer on various projects, carrying out a wide range of development work.
As I approached the halfway point of my career as an engineer, I began to think that I wanted to focus on developing equipment for a single theme within one company, which was the catalyst for my move.
I had been involved in the development of coating equipment in my previous job as well, and I realized the difficulty of liquid control.
The deciding factor was that I was attracted to Musashi, which is based on that advanced technology.
Please tell us about your current job duties.
In our company's Engineering Department, we are divided into teams to develop dispensers, the robots that operate them, and fully automated equipment. My role within the Engineering Department is the development of robots that carry and operate dispensers. I am primarily in charge of control-related tasks, including the selection of electrical and electronic components, circuit design, harness design, and PCB design and development.
Amidst a rapidly changing external environment, I strive to create better products by also considering component procurement in my work.
Please tell us what you find interesting and rewarding about your current job.
It is about adding new functions to robots to make them better as products.
I think it is interesting to be able to use my experience to incorporate new perspectives into development that were not there before.
What would you like to achieve at Musashi in the future?
While keeping the theme of "dispensing" intact, I would like to be involved in new product development using ideas and approaches that have never been seen before.
The breadth of our versatility is one of our company's strengths, but I would also like to take on the challenge of work related to entering new industries.
I would be happy if expanding our range of activities into new fields in the future could also lead to an improvement in our company's brand image.

Please tell us about your previous job, what motivated you to change jobs, and why you chose Musashi.
In my previous job, I had many opportunities to be involved mainly in embedded software development. Due to the nature of the company as a specialized trading firm that handles contract development or development support at the customer's site where products are sold, in addition to software development, I was involved in tasks such as system studies and technical support when customers launched their products. As for the final products, they ranged from printers and car navigation systems to toys and vending machines.
I was able to gain various experiences and found it rewarding, but the reason for my career change was that I felt unsatisfied with not being able to be involved in the specification studies of the products themselves.
I chose this company from among several manufacturers that offered me a position because of my interest in dispensers, which were unknown to me at the time, and because I felt through workplace visits and job interviews that it was a culture where I could reflect my own concepts and ideas into products.
Please tell us what you find interesting and rewarding about your current job.
My main duty is the development of dispensers. I am involved in various processes, starting with the examination of specifications and feasibility assessment, and once development begins, I handle progress management and coordination with the marketing department and the factory.
Software development for dispensers and robots is also wide-ranging.
Compared to the past, the dramatic improvement in CPU performance and processing power allows us to realize almost all control related to the dispensing of liquid materials and robot trajectories through software, and recently, we have also been working on initiatives such as research into evaluation methods using AI.
Please tell us what you find interesting and rewarding about your current job.
There is fun and reward in each process and each of its steps.
For example, when our plans are adopted at the planning stage, or when we manage to meet a deadline after repeated adjustments at the mass production stage as the release approaches, it is a lot of hard work, but I feel rewarded for it.
However, I think the moment I feel the most fun as an engineer is when "things move exactly as we designed them" and "the performance is exactly as we expected."
What would you like to achieve at Musashi in the future?
I want to develop a dispenser with overwhelming performance that cannot be chosen by anyone but Musashi, without getting caught up in cost competition with competitors.
Although it is very abstract, I believe that it can definitely be achieved if we combine the technology and know-how that our company has cultivated so far with the new concepts and ideas that will be added from now on.

Please tell us about your previous job, what motivated you to change jobs, and why you chose Musashi.
I previously worked at a trading company. The main mission of a trading company is to deliver various products to customers, but most of the requested products are from other companies, not our own. While there is some interest in being exposed to a wide variety of goods, I became increasingly interested in a manufacturer that plans, designs, and manufactures its own products to create things that do not yet exist in the world.
It was then that I encountered this company's job opening. I was strongly attracted by its high level of technical expertise as a leading company in the industry, as well as its track record with various top-tier companies, which led to my decision to change jobs.
Please tell us about your current job duties.
At my sales office, I provide improvement proposals to customers every day, focusing on "dispenser equipment" to increase manufacturing production efficiency. In addition to being a sales player, I also serve as a manager for the sales office, working hard every day alongside my team members. I believe that being entrusted with such an important role as a mid-career hire is a testament to our company's flexible corporate culture.
Please tell us what you find interesting and rewarding about your current job.
"Dispensing = precise liquid quantitative discharge" is a very deep field that requires a great deal of know-how. I feel a great sense of "excitement" when I solve problems together with customers, or when the required precision is guaranteed during tests of new liquid agents with our company's engineers.
Also, what I strongly feel at this company is that "proposals from the sales floor are commercialized (custom-made) with a sense of speed." I find it very rewarding to be able to actively participate in the process from product planning to production, which enables manufacturing from the user's perspective.
What would you like to achieve at Musashi in the future?
Our company has offices all over the country, and customer needs vary depending on the office and market trends.
I would like to leverage our company's flexible responsiveness and high technical capabilities to create products that match the region and grow together with our customers and the market.
