What kind of people are active?
Mr. C:
First of all, it is common that you like manufacturing. Even if you are not familiar with manufacturing, if you are interested and motivated, I feel that there are many people who are growing and active depending on the efforts after joining the company.
Mr. S:
That's right. Or are you good at teamwork? We almost never complete our work alone. In order for the finished product to reach the user's hands, many departments, such as the sales department, technical department, manufacturing department, etc., are involved, and close cooperation is required. People who have built relationships of trust with relevant departments and have close communication can grow quickly.
Mr. S:
To be honest, I didn't know anything about dispensing technology until I joined Musashi, but it's really a technology that can be applied to a wide range of fields. Now, "liquid" and our lives are inseparable. Species that require our dispense technology should still be sleeping everywhere. In that sense, those who have a sharp "point of view" that does not overlook the potential of business and a "challenge spirit" that boldly step into new areas are also noticeable.
Mr. C:
"I like manufacturing", "teamwork" and "challenge" are common points among employees who are active in our company. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a new graduate or a career. I joined the company as a career hire. Of course, the specialized skills and experience of my previous job are important as immediate forces, but I feel that the three common points that we play at our company are equally important positions.
Mr. S:
Certainly, I think the company as a whole has something in common, but there are differences depending on the job content. I feel like that. What do you think?
Mr. S:
That's right. I feel that there are some differences depending on the job type.
In technical positions
Mr. S:
Speaking of technical jobs, of course, I like manufacturing, but many people are particular about it. In Dispenser, we want to be able to achieve faster, more accurate and more precise applications with any material. I wonder if there are many people who want to develop products that solve user issues and improve manufacturing in the world.
Mr. S:
Also, there are quite a few people who can (want to) shape ideas with new ideas without being bound by existing frameworks.
Mr. S:
We often say "technology without textbooks" in the company. I often talk to engineers, but I hear that it is difficult to come up with optimal solutions through trial and error, so the sense of accomplishment is great.
In sales positions
Mr. C:
What about the next sales job?
Mr. S:
As a B-to-B manufacturer, we need to build a relationship of trust and continue to support them in the long term, rather than end with a one-time relationship with the user. Because it is important to build a relationship of trust, many people are good at snuggling up with the other person and opening their hearts.
Mr. S:
Yes, there are many people who can talk easily. We are often consulted about recruitment.
Mr. C:
Also, there are many people who do not feel much resistance to touching the unknown in sales. Rather, I think many people are interested in new knowledge and stepping into the unknown Industry. This is also because our technology can be applied widely.
Mr. S:
In the case of our company, there are more sales employees from the humanities than the sciences. So, if you like manufacturing and new things, I want you to challenge more and more without being bound by fixed concepts.
Mr. S:
Also, there are a lot of people from the literature. There is no need for specialized knowledge of technology in office work, and it is okay if you are interested in manufacturing just like sales and want to support people. It was the first time I got to know about our company and Dispenser.
In manufacturing jobs
Mr. C:
I wonder if there are many people who are skilled and concentrated in manufacturing jobs. After that, there are many people who are skilled.
Mr. S:
In terms of personality, there are many people who work hard and serious. The manufacturing department has a calm and gentle atmosphere as a whole, but among them, communication is active and united.
Mr. S:
After all, what is different from the design is that you touch and shape it directly? For a long time, people who enjoy the fun of moving their hands, such as assembly of Dispenser and robots, processing of precision parts, etc. So, there are many people who have experience in making robots when they were students, and they like to move their hands, such as making plastic models.
Musashi's corporate culture
Mr. C:
When you work in HR, you are often asked about the company culture, but it is also one of the most difficult questions to answer honestly. So, let's talk about how employees often talk about the company?
Mr. S:
That's right. I hear that "the connection with people is strong," "there are many events and you can get along with people from different departments," and "the distance between employees is close regardless of position." It may be related to the fact that it is a small and medium-sized manufacturer, but it may be a unique feature of our company that values a sense of unity.
Mr. S:
I often hear from engineers that it is a seminar or laboratory-like atmosphere. Isn't it unique to our company that brings together people from different backgrounds and brings together their expertise and skills to create products? Also, because it is well-ventilated, it is also an environment where you can challenge if you want to actively do what you want to do. I think it is a company where people who are willing to grow more and more opportunities.
Mr. C:
Our company has a diverse and unique personality, background, and values. It's interesting to be able to work with people who are serious and mature, cheerful, leaders, people who look around and follow up ... It's also one of the fun things to be able to work with people who have never met before.
Mr. S:
In terms of corporate culture, I don't think it's good for companies. I just want to work with people who don't listen to this story and think they don't match each other.
What we care about in recruitment (selection)
Mr. C:
Finally, what about what is important in recruitment selection?
Mr. S:
I'm going to see if I've had the experience of speaking with confidence at least one. Anyway, Dispenser is a niche Industry, so there are not many people who are careers or new graduates who join the company with Dispenser experience and knowledge. I think that if you can talk confidently that you will not lose to anybody, or if you have experienced overcoming your hardships, you will be able to become a force through training and education after joining the company.
Mr. S:
Students can do anything, such as club activities, club activities, part-time jobs, etc., so I would like you to have an experience where you can talk with confidence. I would like you to express the feeling that you have accomplished something for yourself.
Mr. C:
In addition, I think it is important to be active for a long time in meeting the corporate culture I mentioned earlier. In this era, I think there are various ways to receive events depending on people. However, in order to make your work enjoyable for a long time, relationships are important, and I think it's about whether you sympathize with them. That's not a place to match, so I want people who can sympathize with me.
Mr. S:
As usual, basic courtesy and manners such as greetings are also important. I would like to work with someone who gives a cheerful and polite greeting in any scene.
